Porsche Hybrid Going Nowhere

Hybrids seem like a deadend solution to the holy grail of zero emissions vehicles. The Cayanne gas-hybrid electric model has been delayed until 2010, thats worst than Chrysler.  Porsche is planning to offer interim diesel models like the Cayanne SUV as a v12 diesel until it can get back in the race.

The BMW GINA Light Visionary Model

GINA stands for “Geometry and Functions in ‘N’ Adaptations”, the GINA’s outer layer is made from fabric pulled over a frame of metal and carbon fiber wires. This allows the car to change shape and give it more organic functionality. Truly outside the box thinking.
